New AM Assembly Schedule
Our AM Assembly schedule has been slightly adjusted since our masses have been letting out a little earlier than usual. Please use THIS schedule moving forward.

Sophomore Theology Project (from Julia Atwell)
The sophomore theology classes will be completing a project on the Sacrament of Marriage. Students will be conducting interviews with someone married in the Catholic Church to ask about the preparation process and the Sacrament itself.

The sophomore theology teachers are looking for people who have been married in the Catholic Church and would like to be interviewed. Interviews will take place in March. Students can interview you in person or over Zoom. They will record the interview, edit it into a short video, and show the video to their class period.

Here are the interview questions:
  1. How did you meet? How did you know you should get married? How can someone know if and when to marry someone?
  2. What was the process of preparation for the Sacrament of marriage for you? Where do you see the preparation helping in your marriage today?
  3. How was your wedding? Do you have any regrets or anything you would change if you could go back to your wedding day? Any advice for anyone planning a wedding?
  4. What are the best parts about being married?
  5. What things are hard? How do you get through conflict and hard times? How do you see the grace of the Sacrament assisting with this?
  6. What role does faith play in your marriage? How do you practice your faith together?
  7. (If the couple has children) How did having children affect your marriage? What advice would you give about having and raising children?
  8. Do you have any other advice to help young adults prepare now for marriage and family life one day?
If you are willing to be interviewed, please let Julia know.

Whova App - Download and RSVP!
You should have received an email from Whova telling you to download the app and to RSVP to the breakout sessions scheduled on January 17th. It is going to be a great day with so many interesting topics so please make sure to download the app using your JPII email and RSVP to the sessions you hope to attend!
