Sophomore Students ONLY Dress Down Award
Back in the fall, our sophomores won the gift card challenge put on by our Advancement Department. They have earned a JPII spirit wear dress down day for Tuesday 2/18. Sophomores will be notified of this privilege via a StudentSquare message later today. This pertains to sophomore students only. Faculty, please dress in typical professional attire on this day.
Yale Book Award
We are pleased to announce that JPIl has been invited to select a worthy junior as a recipient of the Yale Book Award. This award is sponsored by the Yale Alumni Book Club of Dallas.
Award recipients are high school juniors (Class of 2027) who have excelled both academically and through their extracurricular activities, especially in the area of leadership. Yale Alumni Book Club Award winners will receive a book, a Yale pamphlet, and a handwritten letter of congratulations from Yale Alumni Book Club of Dallas.
Please nominate one student you believe meets the following criteria:
- Maintains a high GPA
- Demonstrates a strong personal character
- Actively involved in positions of leadership at JPII and their community
- Has made positive contributions to the JPII
- Excels/shows prowess in at least one non-academic area
- Is or will be a candidate for entrance at a competitive college or university
