Q3 Bishop Grahmann Award Nomination

This award is presented in honor of Bishop Charles Grahmann's support of John Paul II High School.

Students should exhibit the following criteria:

• Works hard with a good attitude in classes
• Exhibits service to others
• Strives to deepen their faith
• Exhibits good citizenship
• Shows leadership.

Please nominate SENIOR students who you feel deserve this award based on the above criteria. Nominations are due no later than Tuesday, March 19th at 12 pm for the 3rd quarter. You may nominate 3 students.

First Annual FIELD DAY - 4/26/24

We will be hosting the first annual FIELD DAY on April 26th! There are no classes scheduled for this day and it has been on the calendar all year. We are in the planning and preparation stages but please know we will need all adults on campus that day to assist in the VERY fun and exciting competitions we will have for our students! GET EXCITED!

Yale Book Award - From Mickey

Dearest Cardinal Family:

I am pleased to announce that JPIl has been invited to select a worthy junior as a recipient of the Yale Book Award.  This award is sponsored by the Yale Alumni Book Club of Dallas.

Award recipients are high school juniors who have excelled both academically and through their extracurricular activities, especially in the area of leadership.

Yale Alumni Book Club Award winners will receive a book, a Yale pamphlet, and a handwritten letter of congratulations from Yale Alumni Book Club of Dallas.

Please nominate one student you believe meets the following criteria:

• Maintains a high GPA
• Demonstrates a strong personal character
• Actively involved in positions of leadership at JPII and their community
• Has made positive contributions to the JPII
• Excels/shows prowess in at least one non-academic area
• Is or will be a candidate for entrance at a competitive college or university
