Prayer Garden Update
Most of you have noticed a lot of dirt being dug up in and around the prayer garden. We wanted to share what work was being done here. All of our drains were completely backed up in the prayer garden. When it would rain, the water had no place to go since the drains were full. The water just pooled out there and eventually made its way to other areas which ultimately created soil erosion in many places.
Our landscaping team is partnering with TD Industries to clear out all of the drains. They are using cameras and dye to ensure that these drains are fully cleaned out, and they will add these drains to the preventive maintenance schedule going forward. They will also be installing rocks near the drains which should minimize some of the soil erosion when it rains.
We would appreciate it if you would avoid the prayer garden while this project is ongoing. In the near future, we will have a new and improved prayer garden!
